Silat Pertempuran Kuncian

The basic Kuncian themselves are specifically taught and derive from the Ular Sanca system or Python. This means that the Kuncian are derived from the type of motion used by a Python. This motion includes a circular entwining motion primarily but also includes a twisting, compressing, and pulling facet to them as well.

In addition, like a python, we do not place a Kuncian on an adversary unless we can also perform a breaking / dislocating (herein referred to as breaking) technique on the "locked" limb.

Within the system, there are MANY possibilities for kuncian, some of which come from the Harimau Sub-system of ground fighting and will be covered within the context of that material.
