Silat Pertempuran Timbilan

Timbilan are sometimes referred to as Buang in some silat systems. Essentially, no matter how you might say it, the meaning is to perform takedowns or throws on the adversary.

The methods of Timbilan found in Pencak Silat Pertempuran are a product of the reference system created by the various Ales and Masukan of the system. The core Timbilan that are trained teach principles with many variations. This is not to say that there are not many more takedowns or throws which could be utilized in their place. The serious pesilat should consider learning various takedowns from every lock and every entry as well.
