Pencak Silat Sterlak

The lineage of Sterlak within Pencak Silat Pertempuran is as follows:

  • Raja Sterlak - Bruno Cruicchi - Abdul Muthalief - ?

Guru Bruno Cruicchi introduced me to the study of Raja Sterlak. His teacher was Guru Abdul Muthalief (also spelled Muthaleef - not sure which is correct).

Guru Muthalief taught six jurus (slaverse), 72 Beladiri, Langkah Dua, Langkah Empat, and several Gerak-garik. By today's standards it is a fairly simple system but mastery is another story.

As with all things written about any system, it could be wrong. I've done my best to tell you what I think I was told but sometimes there have been language issues and other issues which have impeded complete understanding. Ma'af!
